Privacy Policy
Last updated 22 May 2026
FavSix is operated by Nige Ltd (nigelhamilton.com), the data controller for the information described below.
This policy explains what FavSix collects, why, and what you can do about it. We aim to collect as little as the service needs.
What we collect
- Account details — the email address you sign in with, and your profile (handle, display name, bio) if you add one.
- Your content — the FavSixes and Action Tiles you create, including titles, descriptions and destination links.
- Form submissions — responses people send through your form tiles, which we pass on to you.
- Usage data — basic analytics such as FavSix views and tile clicks, which may include IP address, browser and referrer, used to show you counts and to detect abuse.
- Sign-in data — short-lived passcodes and session records needed to log you in and keep you logged in.
Why we use it
We use this data to run FavSix: to authenticate you, store and display your content, show analytics, deliver form submissions, take payment for the Team plan, and keep the service secure. Our lawful bases are performing our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running a safe, working service.
Public content
A FavSix you mark as public, and your public profile, are visible to anyone with the link and may be copied or embedded. Do not put anything private into a public FavSix.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the providers that make the service work — our hosting, our email provider (to send passcodes) and our payment processor (for Team-plan billing) — and only as far as each provider needs to do its job. We may disclose data where the law requires it.
Cookies
FavSix uses one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data, except anything we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and you can object to certain processing. If you are in the UK or EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator.
Security
Passcodes and session tokens are stored hashed, traffic is served over HTTPS, and access to data is limited to what the service needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Children
FavSix is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
